To open this blog, I choose to unfolds Vogue Italia September 2009 which like the cover title, unexpectedly features 3 different covers shot by Steven Meisel: Sasha P and Ash Stymest;
Max Rogers, Anna Jagodzinska, and Will Lewis; Jamie Bochert and Christian Brylle. All looking like they burst from Oliver Twist novels looking dirty and homeless but wearing high fashion clothes. It's also a nice tribute for male models since they rarely showed in a high fashion magazine covers. Steven Meisel surely winning another points for being unexpected!
